How This Site Is Funded
Kairo Diploma is free for all visitors. To keep it that way, we rely on two main sources of funding: display advertising and, in some cases, affiliate partnerships. This page explains exactly how both work.
Display Advertising
We display advertising on this Site through Google AdSense and, potentially, other advertising networks. These ads are served automatically based on the content of the page and, where you’ve provided consent, your browsing behavior. We do not write or approve individual ad content, and the presence of an ad does not imply our endorsement of the advertiser.
Our Editorial Independence
Affiliate relationships never influence the accuracy of our educational content — our guides on Internal Assessments, the Extended Essay, TOK, CAS, and university requirements are written and researched independently of any commercial relationship. We only recommend products or services we genuinely believe may be useful to IB students, and we do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage of a service in our editorial content.
How to Identify Affiliate Content
Where a specific article’s primary purpose includes a product or service recommendation with affiliate links, we identify this clearly at the top of the article with a disclosure notice. Individual affiliate links may also be marked where appropriate.
